Feet in basin of cold water, cool fan on in kitchen, Chillow on bed. If this is Global warming then pity help us The Costa Moray .... it's hell today. SO I DO !!!! Lol resting like the rest of you ,take care .Heats forecast for the week so far orderred my cool downz at the right time. Please check out QVC if you need some.Or my post saying about them,it has the QVC number on it thanks to others posting. Gonna be worth the package weight in gold this year by the looks of things. Posts: 6453 (06/05/08 08:38) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	I can't bear to be too cold, and I can't handle being too hot either....I call it my 'Goldilocks Syndrome' The trouble is, I see the sun, and can't wait to get out there (not an easy process at the best of times) 10 minutes later and I have lost the use of everything and feet have ballooned! I do love to see the sun though, a perfect life would be to live in a sunny climate, with excellent air conditioning to every room! Elaine

Yesterday afternoon at 4.30pm the outside temperature was 27degrees. This is northern Scotland was goodness sake. It's cold and wet here, what's going on? Catriona

This week I've been using my kool ties (www.kooltie.com) magicool spray and - hang the leccy bill - fans and air con units on! The last straw came at 2am this morning when I got up for the loo, glanced at the thermometer and it said 23degrees!!! At 2am!!!! No wonder I was feeling rough as hell Like Elaine, I love to see the sun, but there's just a degree in it when it goes from lovely weather to "TOO bloody hot!" There's not much time that it's "just right" eh? Hang in there and keep cool everyone! Jay x If I can't be a good example -- then I'll just have to be a horrible warning

Up as usual during the night for the shuffle to the loo, 3.30 am, all windows open in bedroom, 23 degrees, and I was also having a dreaded hot flush. Being off HRT sucks, and progesterone cream not yet kicked in. Strange how we were all such sun-worshipers and now the very thought of heat makes us visibly wilt. Now Saturday and it's still very hot, the weather guessers got it wrong yet again for the north of Scotland. Catriona (makes a new meaning to the saying "take a chill pill" ... if only we could)

Physio had set me a target of walking a certain distance but the heat is kicking in now so staying cool is the priority. Must get some soft cool packs laurie

Heat is really getting to me too. Was in Casualty last night for 3 hours with allergy reacton too! Red itchy hives, then my lips started to swell, then my tongue!! Just having a BBQ with friends - at that point they said, 'we better call someone'. So, got carted off and pumped with Piriton iv. - still don't know what I am allergic to..let's hope we get some rain soon! Wendy

It doesn't seem to be that dependant on temperature either, although I would say it is slightly worse in the heat. I have given up on the idea of wearing nice shoes ever again now and will consider just wearing the shoeboxes in future! Elaine

Not very sexy though!! The good news is I can get them on prescription! Sue

I did tell him, that I refused to wear a Liverpool Strip as well Anyway, do you think that the proper support stockings would be better? I have bought support pop socks before, but just the supermarket ones Elaine x

I for one am pleased that the weather's cooled down again... Jay x If I can't be a good example -- then I'll just have to be a horrible warning
