Teenage obesity - possible link to future Multiple Sclerosis?

Being obese as a teenager may be linked with an increased risk of multiple sclerosis as an adult, researchers say.

A 40-year study of 238,000 women found those who were obese at 18 had twice the risk of developing MS compared to women who were slimmer at that age.

Yet body size during childhood or adulthood was not found to be associated with MS risk, the US...

Question re self catheterizing

I don't know if anyone has had any experience or could share their views on this. My partner has SPMS and in the last few months has started using catheters. This has helped with the spasms in his legs and I for one highly recommend it having seen the improvement with him.

However, my concern is he may be over doing it. Is there such a thing? According to the urologist, he should be doing this 3-4 times a day, but is actually doing this about 6 times a day. The concern here...

Tea Tree Oil

I have always been a fan of tea tree oil, and wouldn't be without it!
I dab it at my nostrils (first point of contact for germs) if I have to mix with people of dubious character (joking) and I am positive that it is imperative if travelling on a 'plane or suchlike with their dodgy 'communal' air recycling systems
